For a day to day, general use saw I prefer mine to a 372xp - it's not a screamer of a saw, but will deal with anythng you throw at it until you get into 660 territory. Plus, it's much more suited to cutting firewood than the whizzy little 346xp, IMO

Cheers mate,

I know a big firewood company in Somerset uses a lot of 365s

Why do you prefer them as a firewood saw because they are a bit smoother?

I once fixed one for a friend of mine and once I stripped it down thought it was a lovely simple bog standard kind of saw no tricks or electrics,

Just a good old slogger & reliable

Josh

There seems to be a lot of love for the 355

It's tried, tested and bomb proof, you can still get the early production run saws, and unlike stihl, husky did a u-turn when they replaced the 365/372 with the 570/572 and bought them back

What ever you do DON'T get one of those Chinese lookalike saws . The plastics are all pattern and quite accurate as is the muffler. Underneath the engine is your usual " Chinker " Thread running now about them .....
