12 months? If you're referring to the Mac 450 you started the thread about, it's 2 years now!

Hi

Time flys, good to hear your saw is working well, my friends Mac has also run fine & cuts quite well.

I started out with a little mittox 4118 for firewood and clearing the shrubbery and over the years its paid for itself 20 times over and never put a foot wrong, it even started after I dropped it in the river. I just drained the fuel and oil, dried the case and bar with a towel and left it in the airing cupboard for a week then re-fueled it and it started first time.

I've still got it and use it for odd little jobs now as I've a husky now but cheap doesn't always mean rubbish, and i really haven't lavished any attention on it at all, I guess you just have to be lucky and not get one that was put together on a Friday !!

They say it gets faster as you get older! I remember a term at school used to seem forever, now months fly by, but payday never comes fast enough
