Keep eyes peeled for transit tipper Chichester area!!!!!!!

Hi all,just had a high sided silver and black transit with brand new body on it pull up and take a good look at my landy tipper etc,then go up the road turn round and do the same!!! Reg no NX10 EBL,also seen this transit around chi in the last few days but as im quite rural what is he doing round here in the sticks? woman in passenger side with lots of gold etc,you get the picture!!

Thanks for the heads up ! I'm in Lavant and stuff has been going near here just recently . Would be a good idea to contact plod with that reg . Regards Andy .

Fellas please don't assume that because a police car doesn't turn up within 5 minutes with a prisoner kicking & screaming in the back seat that nothing is being done. Police resources are at their lowest for decades and all calls must be prioritised. Unfortunately a suspicious vehicle doesn't rate as highly as an incident where an actual offence is being committed. If an uncommited unit is in the area they may well be searching the surrounding area for the sus truck but you won't be aware of it (although in an ideal world someone should call you back & tell you what has been done!). If the truck is found it will be stopped and the occupants spoken to. However if no evidence is found of an offence they must, by law, be allowed to go as soon as practicable. Modern policing is mostly "intelligence led" and the information gathered will be entered onto a database. If sufficient information is obtained search warrants can be executed at suspects addresses in order to obtain evidence and arrest/prosecute offenders. I know thats not much good with our friends without actual addresses but "rules is rules" and the police (regrettably) have to stick to them. So please don't slag off the old bill untill you fully understand the restraints within which they have to work. They really do want to catch the bad guy, it's just a very difficult thing to do, unless they catch 'em in the act, which in itself is very hard.

Seen said truck again in next village with woman loading branches in the back,dressed as though she was off to lidels shopping! deffo dids i recon just cold calling for work and then will prob fly tip the waste somewhere local !! Not good to have around.

 

Not only nicking potential work but also giving us genuine guys ether a bad name or making people think we are all like that,the law can not touch these people and they are/or scared of them!

get hold of your countrywatch team and let them know. bound to be seen about more info they get a better picture they have.

+1 as my post before the police have a country watch team hampshire have a team based in Petersfield not far away. i am a member and have there poster on front of property. they take all info and as said compile it to get a better picture. and then pass it on for the local police to keep a eye out for sus trucks. so get hold of your local countrywatch officer and give him or her the details. you must be just into west sussex so sussex police
