She was an old lady who was in politics. She's died. Anyone who is glad that she is dead is a moron. She wasn't Hitler, or Bin laden. She was a Prime Minister. Look at how many people are loosing their jobs right now. The country is on its knees. Ignorance.

Name calling?

Tsk,tsk.

A true stand-up son. Amazing how much money can be made trading arms, legally & illegally.

Please remember that a gathering of more than ten people listening to repetitive beats in the open air, without a licence is an offence.

was the criminal justice act one of her ideas? after the battle of the beanfield it wouldn't surprise me

The gathering of more than 7 people was a labour thing brought about because of the rave/vandalism/sheep barbequeing/ drugs/new age campers on castlemorton common near me. The rave was in 1992/3 if i remember.

Bit fuzzy cos we skipped school for 2 days and were kind of out of it. ;)

The CJA was 1994 i think, and even though thatcher was long gone, her government still influenced it. They just couldn't handle the fact some people wanted to be free and not under control from legislation and law.

I've had friends go to prison for organising a rave in a forest, where no noise complaints where made, but the riot police came in heavy handed anyway, without warning.

This is Thatcherism i believe, still going strong in 2007.

They get a custodial sentence, but people convicted of robbery, assault, sexual assault etc get let off with a fine and community service!
