Mrs Egg has just been on the phone to Mendiplogs (Jon) and he told her that he was wearing Marigolds whilst doing the hoovering.   Is this normal for a hairy arsed tree man ?

2013, happy, innocent times..😌

 

What are we wearing these days? I just bought a batch of the latest Lidl Parkside work pants, polyester stretch fabric, cordura knees with pad slots, sturdy belt loops, comfey and fast drying for €15, bloody great value.

 

Bought a "cheap" softshell jacket from a hardware store for €35 recently, decent light rain protection, very breathable. Found a €55 work boot I like in a local shop, bought a second pair for rotation. No goretex but good water resistance, no sweating, no chafing, great insoles.

 

The quality of cheap work wear seems to be really good at present.
