thats nice rob really nice colours there

did u cut slabs and then mini mill the 2nd pic

 

 

 

It's with the Peterson mill - so cut mainly at 8" by 2.5"... those pieces have gone a nice dark colour now...

 

 

Should be good when they are dry.

Here's a bit of Larch I've done. Excellent wood. Just felled another monster for my first paid milling - making more panelling like the bottom left picture for someone else's log store - 5m x 2m (hence the 20m toppled tree...:thumbup1:)

 

Will advise a better job than mine as I'll be looking at a 2" gap once the bark rots off. Nice airflow as it stands though.
