Ok . Looked at that one on fleabay and it wont be up to the job . ! its got a smaller engine than mine and 2 its belt driven . They would just slip I recon . Mine is duplex chain and sprocket drive . The one you are looking at will need a lot more work to make it usable on anything other than bone dry pop !

I have a piddly little hydraulic one but really want a flywheel rack and pinion set up but they only seem to sell in the states.

Powerful, fast and affective on bigwood.

Anyone know somewhere that sells them?

Seen em demo on U tube . Don't think they will import the cause not CE approved .

Fair enough, Im guessing it does slip hence needing a tensioner.. I never thought of chain and sproket! Been upto Chichester a few times. :thumbup1:

This is a power pack I came across for hydraulic splitter.. Any good?

Item number: 230952992202

What sort of money would a small tractor cost to ring a pto corkscrew?

No way to tell for sure from that listing

In order to know what the unit is good for you need to know the pressure and flow of the pump, since its a proprietary unit we can assume its engine is up to the maximum requirements of the pump

Then you need to know what the flow and pressure the splitter needs

Small tractors are desirable and that makes them expensive
