I'm sure it's been covered. But........... :thumbup:

 

Most mid sized cranes are available as 3pl mounted but as to what'll suti you best, it all depends on what you want to use it for.

 

In my limited experience of using a crane mounted on the 3pl, I'd go for traielr mount or roof mount if at all possible.

 

If I had to go 3pl I'd be looking for something fairly lightweight. Also, make sure it bends in the right places to clear the cab.

just fitted one to my renault .italian make i had never seen before,dallabona.

was used to load rootball trees in a large nursery. 7.5m reach, own tank and pto pump.like new. got it for 3k euro.have to fit my own grab and rotator though but pretty happy with it.

anyone have any experience of these cranes?

Farma 4.6 on a Fendt 304 about the same size as Ford 4000. I had to change lower mounting point to get it to go over cab. Use it 3pl mounted and on the front of trailer when I finish building it. Have used a old 3 ton trailer picture 1
