Every morning. Where's the car keys, where's the RNLI pager, what did I do with my wallet. Where did I park the car.

Am I actually working today. :blushing::confused1::lol::lol:

Where did I put that spanner.......

Also forget everything the other half tells me two seconds after she tells me. But I swear this is due to me just not listening. :laugh1::laugh1:

My mum had a brain tumour years ago (luckily benign just from a bump on the head) but she can't remember bringing us up. Not a thing. She seems OK with it, presumably as she can't remember what she's missing but if you think about it, forgetting your children's childhoods is pretty dreadful.

I carry business cards - very useful as they remind me what my name is, the job I do and where I should be going each morning....if you write your home address on the back...........

I've got a 'Take me home' function on my iPhone for that. All I have to do is steer.

That takes some thinking about,I can relate in some small way,my mother,& bless her for my mentioning her,has experienced large blocks of memory loss, the past,& often recent stuff.

Never forgets the most trivial of family things in the days to come, her reliable brain is only locked into the future. Same person, same love, but a big hollow that she is aware exists,it frightens the begisus out of her at times, knowing.

Now I am going to sound like an old fart, but last year or so my memory was getting worse than usual but found taking ginseng tablets helped, as long as I remembered to take them :laugh1:

Yep me too, about three years ago,all I got out of it was a stiff left wrist & a certain squint:001_huh::biggrin:

I tie my end of day destination into my bootlaces as I knot them in the morning ,& hope I end up undoing the last knots of the day in the same place.:001_smile:
