Have they sorted the fly zip out on them? The only down side to strech air pants. :( Very tough wearing though, had mine 18months and other than the fly holding up very well compared with the stihl pants my brother got at the same time.

Hi Stormin Norman...thanks for your post. Pfanner addressed every element of the Arborist trousers when they went through the redesign process and from the feedback we've received from the UK guys who have tested the new 2013 design Arborist trousers, they are really impressed. :)

Icabrol...I'd imagine that treetools in NZ will be stocking them. Give them a buzz and they'll give you the details of delivery etc. :)

Please enlighten me about the removable elastic gaiters bit?

Do these have the hook that clips on to your boots, to stop em riding up your leg when your climbing through a hedge?

They look good, got to be more cost effective than the longevity of the hiflex.

Hi MATTMOSS. The Type A's have the removable gaiters, with the hook that clips on to your boot laces. Keeps the trousers in place and stops any creepy crawlies and sawdust etc going up your legs. The Type C's don't have this, because of the all round cut protection material. Both Arborist Type A and C are available in Red or Grey and in leg lengths standard (80cm), short (75cm) or long (87cm). If you let me know where you are based, I can point you in the direction of your nearest stockist. Cheers, Y :001_smile:
