Andrew Footwear :: Antelao Chainsaw SPX

Anyone tried these? Saw them for the first time at the field days here in NZ. Looked like a nice boot and talked to a guy in search and rescue who has a pair and reckons they're the dog's danglies.

And for the record; Can't fault my Meindles. Four years out of the first pair and they still get used as walking boots. On to the second pair but they need new soles as I wear out one side on the heel. Might try the Zermatts next time though.

Zermatts I would not buy any thing else as a saw climbing boot, I can get around 2 years out of them... Had a pair of the scafels , they look good but lasted me 4 months before they started falling apart and did not find them that comfy, especially breaking them in.

Hiax I Generally get about 7-8 months out of and meindles are too slim for my feet... Pfanner boots though I just can't rave about them enough!!

My airstreams are still going srong after 18 months!! I find them a bit narrow mind, my left big toe goes numb on the side after a long day. Might try zermatts next.

I had a similar issue. Made the pads on my feet go hard and after long days it would leave them a bit sore. Not unbearable but it felt nice to sit down. Zermatts cured this problem. Well worth the cash.
