As the tittle suggests, I am wanting to know if it is better to go big when it comes to buying chain oil?

Does the high initial outlay for such a large amount, 210lt, out weigh the overall saving?

Have no idea where I would buy it I am in Diss, South Norfolk.

Opinion wanted, how do you guys buy your oil, 25lt or 210lt?

25 l lasts me about 2 years now :)

Double edge sword. The more work you get the more oil you get though.

Seem to pick up chain oil everytime I go past the saw shop.

210L every time. The saving is huge and less hassle. Normally lasts us around 6 months.

Where's the best place to get 210 L ? Jonsie don't do em. What price are they?

The few times we've priced up a 205ltr locally it's never worked out any cheaper per litre than buying the 20/25ltr drums.

Think we're on £2/litre at the mo - it's a bit of a bad show when it was more like 70p a litre not that many years ago. Seemed to go up £3-4 a barrel every time we went in and over the course of a year had doubled.
