You only notice an improvement in height and accuracy because you have an 8oz only rookies use 10oz, make an 8oz and I'll have 2!!

Most popular throw bag weight is 10oz as found buy a poll I believe, but 8oz is plenty for the pod from what I have seen. That is the weight I would buy for every day use. I can see the 10oz having market abroad where the trees are more regularly above 30m & may have deeper bark/flakes along with the added friction of longer descents over larger diameter limbs at point of contact.

I bought one to send to Mistabenn in the states, and the ergonomics really impress me.

 

I didn't buy myself one because I thought the lack of a nose loop would cost me too much time whilst setting pull lines in forest trees, but I think I've come up with a solution since!

I only joke, I think it's a good call to make a couple of weights to choose from, as Grace the aeronautical engineer pointed out the shape the mass etc shouldn't make a noticeable difference but some how it does, the 8oz almost feels to heavy to me.

I'll trial it with my HR bag and get back to you. Nothing amazing, I just find I need a click solution on multiple trees rather than untying the bag/pod or hauling it through backasswards if that makes sense.
