Nice work Ross and Rich:thumbup1:

I would love to do some meaningful reductions, but all I get is to help get another year of light supply into mrs frontbottoms kitchen!!!!

That's why I don't bother to post my work so often as it just turns into a "oh! Why have you reduced that tree!!" Thread or "don't you know its the wrong time of year" really does my head in! It's work at the end of the day and like rich says as a subby climber if we don't do it we don't get paid regardless of what we think of the spec!!!

Yep, day in day out here we reduce trees coz Mrs Muggins hasn't got enough light in her front room, regardless of whether the sap is rising or not. The Acer we did this morning was pouring out!:biggrin:

It's work, and at the moment it pays the bills

Am I missing something:confused1: Isn't that what a Tree Surgeon does?

But I'm an arborist:001_rolleyes::lol:

Most 'tree surgery' is a load of bollocks when you think about it.

Trees seemed to manage ok before we invented this job in the '70s.

Best tree care in most instances (if people weren't involved) is leave em alone:001_tt2:
