Do they make the same "observations" to taxi drivers? £4 for a 1 mile trip, but he has to cover his overheads the same as everyone else.

 

I think its the perception, because someone is charging £650 a day, they are making loads of money. No one is that bothered to find out how much a new 550xp is, or to replace the aging chipper will probably cost several grand.

Just put it down to them being morons and ignore them.

It's the same crap people come out with no matter what you do - plumber, teacher, architect, personal trainer, florist.... Farmer!

The only career I think this sentiment of overpaid and underworked applies to in truth is 'professional' footballer.

Everyone else works hard for their money and should probably earn more.....
