The jokes started coming through to mobile this morning. Had to look on the net to see what had happened.

Im pretty sure the mobile phone companys employ people to come up with jokes for the occasion knowing you will txt them on, i had one about the jimmy saville saga, although i hate kiddie fiddlers with a paassion as does every other dad i couldnt help but laugh, youve probably all heard it so i wont repeat it.

No worries Finky

Nothing wrong with these types of jokes amongst friends...I get texted all sorts of jokes from people who know my humour....its a bit different to posting stuff on an open forum for anyone and everyone to read.

Good rule of thumb with posting risky jokes on a forum, or anything for that matter......if its not something you'd say to a stranger on the street, then don't say it!

When these things happen its terrible how fast the jokes are made and spread.

Its the world we live in today with fast technology and media coverage.

I have a good sense of humour so most things dont bother me, but If you knew someone involved or you were part of some disaster then you may find them hurtful.

Or you liked being miserable.
