no point messing about with 2 climbers buddy just have 2 men on the ground one trimming out and one chipping, theres nothing in the way to damage. crash it down bit by bit, like the other bloke said depending on if you have to take the chips and wood away, your looking at around 4 good truck loads of chips depending on your chipper and same again for wood. £1800-£2000k

Plenty to think about. The big kit belongs to the estate. I've just got to get it down. The estate sells chip for biomass so will have to see where the goalposts lie in regards to that.

ok then 1 day with the plant 1200 quid, ballpark figure. (assuming it's your gear and not the clients)

 

No where near enough. If it was three days with three men doing it manually you'd be looking at around £2200+vat.

Big machinery and speed doesn't reduce costs by a penny, it reduces time on site.
