First Impressions of the 150T

And why not? Gets more use than the 200t, after all, how many jobs do you get where the 150t wouldn't suffice compared to the 200t? You're talking stuff 18"+

Yeh, it certainly goes to every job with us.

 

The main reason I got one was to extend the life of the 200's, but to be honest if the 150 blows up after a year, I'd get another.

 

Very useful bit of kit, as I've always said, a saw for every job, this little thing has filled another void in the arsenal.

I find the 150T ideal for stripping conifers etc, and makes you wander how you ever used to manage lugging a 200t around a tree instead!

 

When your groundy has stuck the 150 ground saw in the ground and you pick it up to quickly cut something, that's a completely different story, there's nothing worse!

I have been using a 150 for the last two weeks now....on the harness I hardly notice it's there..it feels great in the hand and the shape if the bar allows for great presicion cutting...beautifuly thin kerf. Wonderful pruning saw and yesterday I bashed down a connie hedge that was about 8 feet wide with great comfort even at full stretch....I think it's an Amazing tool....I call it, "my petrol Silky!":rolleyes:

I just can't fault my 201t so I guess if I had a 150t I would try and use it for everything that's the problem

Thinking like that is daft. Well atleast to me it is, no different to saying because you have loppers you'd never use secateurs.

Each to there own mate not saying I would buy/own one its just nearly £400 and I have managed without one so I will manage without one and keep the £400

I think I have saved a fortune in Aspen using mine, they are a frugal saw.
