why not play with the carb matty

u could lean the top end up and make it cut faster :lol::lol:

think I may get one and send it to spud, to see what he can get out of it :thumbup::thumbup:

No I would not pm spud he is good on advice and can explain why better than me..

Cheers man, I use aspen will that affect the plug colour? I've made the hole at 5mm haven't used it yet just let it tick over to see what it sounds like:) I'm so excited!

It's OK Andy, I know what he means:lol:

 

I have heard that if you drill a hole in a mint, it goes faster if you suck it - by as much as 15%:lol:

 

Just check the colour of your plugs after you have drilled these holes - do a number of flat out cuts and kill the engine directly after the last cut.

 

Tan/coffee colour is good:thumbup:

Graphite grey/white is bad bad bad:thumbdown:

Ill run mine as standard until the warranty runs out, not that Im expecting it to break but if it does and its been played with then bang goes your warranty.

 

I warn owners of this if they ask about me modding their saws - a very good point!

I have a problem tuning mine, I know it's a bit rich, but I tached it at just over 13k rpm, whilst the book says 12.8k max

After using mine on Thursday I placed it down to chip up only to find when I picked it up there was a puddle of melted plastic underneath :thumbdown: here we go I though, been heaping praise on the little ripper and she's going into melt down. I pulled at the now solidified mess to find it was a lump of spearmint chewing gum:what:
