First Impressions of the 150T

I noticed this today too. Bit of wd40 and a cloth shifted it easy enough.

I'm on stihl hp ultra. I did try and look at pulling the exhaust off to look at how its built and if it can be opened up. But I couldn't see any easy to access screws. Still put a hole in anyway. Only a 5mm one. May widen it if I feel I need a bit more. Seems a bit happier to pick the chain up from idle. Although the H screw was already all the way anti clockwise it seems I can't richen it any more. So I won't be going nuts with this mod.

Picture please:)

I'm tempted to expand the hole in mine. Compared two ms150s today and mine is a bit picker on acceleration. Makes it nicer to use.

Re tuning the carb: mine was set with the H screw fully anti clockwise. From what I remember on here turning the H screw anti clockwise richens it. It's already at full richness then it'll take a bit but don't want to make it lean where it can't be recovered!

I'm more than happy with the performance without drilling holes.

Willow re-pollarding today with it was great!! :)

One second of a cut is a lot though Alex , its louder but its a very quiet saw any way ... I did a take down last week on a dead robinia next to a church with the sugoi got to 12" wood and waited untill the hyms to cut it .. The 150 was so slow it was painful ,a 200 on tick over would of been more effective , but I recon its got a bit more now it can breath better.
