I still have a three strand polyprop lowering line and a topping down strop, and I still do a bit of natural crotch rigging. But there's no way I'm giving up my ropeguide and hitchclimber:001_tongue:

I never tried rigging with my crotch... sounds painful :blushing: when I climbed I tried every new knot under the sun and tried to make sure I still knew how to climb if I only had a single climbing rope and one krab. Although it was great trying out new stuff it all kind of went down the priority list when at the top of a massive tree in the rain trying to rig a large piece of oak over a bungalow roof with the rain running down the inside of your boots...

HI I am new to the climbing side but have looked at several different climbing systems . I got to say keeping it simple is much better I use both ends of the rope and just use a blakes . I cannot get on with any of these mechanical devices, for me it makes it harder not easier but thats just me .
