Very interested in knowing how you get on with the bobcat mate? I have tried to find decent loader tractor for a while but i dont really need the tractor just a loader really and bobcat may work well.

My 2 best purchases last year were: Army waterproof jacket and Bobcat. I almost bought a second tractor for handling wood. So glad I didn't! My Bobcat can lift a ton, it turns like a tank so can stack in tight spots, can stack as high as 3 m3 pallets on one another. It loads my trailer up in no time and great for lifting wood from stacks. All in all awesome, I would be lost without it now!

I have had a 751 bobcat for 13 years. Brilliant versatile bit of kit. A jcb robot may be better for the log job because you can get in and out easier. The only down side is the mess a skid steer makes if you are working on mud.

is it any good for say pushing up brush from hedgerow coppicing etc? i would need it to be as versitile as possible
