We had a fella trying to flog us some snide Stihls out the back of an Enterprise van the other week, went from £100 to £60 very easily.

Must have been stolen fakes.

South Essex

Had a bright white transit short wheel base with reg starting HWA offering chainsaws this week, with three v young Irish lads in it.

Seen today in Cranbrook area of Kent:

Be on the look out for some Irish sounding blokes in a dirty white transit van selling very fake 'Stihl' Chinese copy chainsaws and Makita drills and dodgy other stuff.

They have been reported to Kent police, but didn't get the plate due to angle.

Keep ya eyes peeled and report all contact :thumbup1:

Had a "council" van the other day in the yard we share with everyone else. They were loading up road signs into a Transit tipper. Other council guys were coming and going but when we approached them about their "non liveried/logoed" hiv-viz they got agressive towards us in a strong irish accent. Police arrested them for attempted theft of road signs and theft of a hire van. Just as well we had the gonads to approach them or they would have stolen about 100 signs and frames. The council guys didnt approach them because they "had hi-viz jackets on and their truck had Highway Maintenance across the back".
