Monikieman ... that bottle of Caledonia that you have murdered ... is it much different from Edradour 10 year old (do you know?) as that is my favourite so far by a long way and I don't know whether to blow 40 quid on an internet purchase of Caledonia ...

 

 

Ah. I find scoring whisky far too difficult. All I can say is that bottle was troughed in a week. (I'm on tablets and not allowed to drink WTF but had a week off).

 

I suppose you're £30 for a normal bottle so the tenner extra is worth it. Very easy drinking.

Treat myself today - wandering round Tesco an stumbled across Jura Prophecy on the shelf. I'd yet to see it anywhere other than online so far and had said first time I saw any I was going to buy a bottle. Nearly jibbed but it's currently at £42 a bottle instead of £50-£60 so it would have been rude not to.

 

Not sampled it yet but will do a bit later :thumbup1:

Good man Talisker is mine and my dads favourite, years ago me and him went on a bonding road trip to the isle of sky visited the distilary there. Couple of years ago i bought him a 1982 special edition bottle, this year ive bought him the 175th anniversary bottle see how he gets on with that on sunday :thumbup1:
