After buying another bottle of superstition ( because it was on offer at a tenner off) I'm not so keen on it second time round. Maybe it's because I have gone onto Laphroaig and lagavulin I don't know

anyone know how to date a bottle of Glenmorangie?. An old boy gave us all a bottle of whiskey each. It says 10 years old on the bottle/can, but one of the other bottles turned out to be 27 years old! :)...what a great tip!

A 10 year old will still be a 10 year old in 50 years time.

Its the amount of time it stays in the barrel maturing that gives it it's age ie 10 year old 15 year old etc.

My whisky journey started with Isle of Jura, with a brief stopover at Talisker, before moving onto Laphroaig and then latterly Laphaoig Quarter Cask. Now the normal Laphroaig tastes watered down. Damn it!
