Hopefully you'll do better than the blokes the other side of the river from us last week who pollarded a willow over the river - they just chucked all the brash in the water and waved goodbye to it!

 

I would have thrown it in the water from up the Tree.

Ideal site for wildlife in trees along the river, check for evidence in and around the location of trees. Best to survey each one before felling or disturbing habitats. Pair of waders may come in handy and pack some spare dry clothes in case!!:bath:

I felled 4 leaning willows before christmas 3 went really well 1 did not it was rotten in the middle it gave way to soon and left a small barber chair in the good wood. just take care saw willow is really soft and soon gives way.
