Hey guys,

Just a quick question, if there was some form of membership club that proved you, your company and your staff were of a high standard, would you join it?

I mean you would have to pay for membership for your company and all your staff would have to sit a test including yourself. But it would be an official organisation to help customers check for reputable companies.

The test wouldn't be easy either (I'm sure you guys would ace it)

So yeah would you join something like that.

Thanks

Vertigo

calling yourself Vertigo on a forum dedicated to people who work at height might send out the wrong message :001_smile:

how would your scheme differ from the Arb AC scheme? who would be the 'official organisation' awarding the accreditation? The Forestry Commission? The ISA? The Woodland Trust? if it's not an already well established organisation connected with trees or tree management you may find it difficult to get established?

Not in a million years, I think we all have enough to do without carrying out pointless test. we get continued work from already working to high standards and our good name carried on by our satisfied customers.

To become an AA approved contractor requires a high standard of work practice, high standards and knowledge not to mention total compliance with industry best practice and HSE.

Some people do some people dont.
