We had a demo of this machine today. We had made it a little tricky with a muddy slope and a very cold and hard Yew stump to remove.

I think for a little 27hp machine it did a good job. The autosweep system works very well reducing the head speed dependant on the pressure and resistance at the cutting wheel.

Overall not a bad machine and only weighs 470kg.

Thought i would share.

The best little domestic stump grinder on the market, I had one and wish i'd kept it. The Kohler needs a drop of Redex at 500 hours down the spark plug holes though, best to get the dual wheels too, they're very handy at times and easy to put on and off

You must get duel's or you will end up with it on its side before you have owned it a week.

Best all round grinder I have used in 15 years and I have taken out some monster stumps ie 2+ van loades of grinding of 1 stump, vermeer verizon of green teeth all the way for me.

I run the Multi tip on my little predator and i reckon the 252 would be great with that system. The teeth on Vermeers machine were not brand new but not blunt by any means. that yew stump was rock hard and it was definitely easier than swinging a pedestrian one about. I was impressed.

Other ones now to try are:

Bandit 2250

Predator 28/38m

Carlton 4012 NP

I'd get a Sandvick head over a multi tip any day ............
