Evening All,

 

I am having some trouble with the in feed rollers it seems to not be gripping the timber properly the top roller just wants to bounce on anything over 2 inch diameter. Also struggles with some of the smaller bits. It's got a new set of blades in it so that part should be fine.

 

Any ideas any one ?:confused1:

Are the rollers sharp???

They probably could do with a sharpen.

 

I will give it a go see what happens.

have you rotated the anvil or fitted new??

Hi all,

 

Thanks for your help with this. I have turned the anvil and checked the springs I have also put a fresh edge on the in feed rollers.

 

But still no luck it's still not pulling anything through

 

Any other ideas?

check the roller box floor just behide the bottom feed roller and just infront of the anvil have had in the past were thay have worn and the anvil sits slightly pround and catches timber on the way in. if it is worn build it up with weld

Any pics of chipper , ? Are the springs to tight ?? I have the same machine

I always slash cut larger timber as I don't have power grip rollers , an 8 " log goes in with no effort
