Just driven home from Hants to Cannock Chase Staffs. Blizzard and near white out condtions on the M40 at 14:00 !!

 

1" here on the deck at home and still coming down hard but 60' lower off the Chase nothing is settling. Air temp is 0.

 

I don't expect it to be any worse than just before Christmas, they just like to scaremonger because people are such useless pratts these days !

It will be worse than before christmas Buzz, i won`t be surprised if we don`t see atleast 6 inchs of snow across many parts of britain, In favoured areas it could be upto 10 inchs especially in the east. The weather models are upgrading all the time and the latest is looking like it could stay very cold and snowy for most fo the week.

snowing here, coming in spurts..heavy then stopping..news says its going to be heavy in Suffolk. nice im not working at the moment...dont have to get up at stupid o clock and go out in it.i know im a lightweight!

just heard on the radio that there is a tree down closing a road and the snow is drifting. i think they said near the a1

Im in somerset, down in the south west. No snow here yet but they do forcast some

just had a phone call from the control room to let me know that i may be needed as a drivers mate out of watton depot with norfolk county council at 4 oclock in the morning as the gritters may be going out with snow ploughs on and as they have the plough on they require two the passinger is ment to keep there eye on the left side of the plough easy money
