Anyone go out feed the birds in garden

Feed all year round . Fat balls , peanuts , wild bird seed , sun flower hearts and thistle seed for the gold finches .

We feed all year round, peanuts, sunflower hearts, fatballs, it is not the cost I have a problem with but the delivery time from point of order, most times upto two weeks. There is a broad price range.

Yes jon, I have a mate down in north devon, and he swears by them for all his stuff very competitive on prices

First real frost this morning as the clocks went back ( thanks Jon ) Went out and filled the feeders up . Not got to the back door and it went bonkers !

We have to fill ours every other day. The only bird we have not seen for a couple of months are the spotted woodpeckers. Red squirrels still hammering the peanuts and occasionally sunflower hearts. We even had a couple of baby ones coming onto the feeders a couple of months back, so must be a second brood.

I bough a big bag of mixed budgie seed and the birds wont touch the stuff. They only seem to bother with the fat balls.

Most birds won't touch budgie seed! Including budgies! We have a pet shop and the budgies eat aviary mix which is lots of Niger seed and sunflower hearts our feathered friends at this time of year are looking for fatty sugary junk food, a good mix of sunflower hearts, Niger seed, dry mealworms, and crushed peanuts will cater for most species
