Anyone go out feed the birds in garden

best birds in our garden are sparrow hawk and a pair of bull finches

 

we also had a broad bordered bee hawk moth one year

Best bird in garden so far KINGFISHER!

 

I'll match that and raise ya two Goldcrests and a Blackcap....

 

The Kingfisher was a few years ago and we watched him take nine baby goldfish from our pond.

Blue Tit, Great Tit, Long Tailed Tit, Gold Finch, Siskin, Green Finch, Nuthatch, Great Spotted Woodpecker, Green Woodpecker (tends to pick up the fallen bits off the floor) Bulfinch and Chaffinch.

They become quite tame with time and some even come and bang on the window if the feeders become empty.

keep putting food out for the bluetits but never see any, food goes but never been lucky enough to see them feasting. Probably too cold for them to be seen

Feed all year round . Fat balls , peanuts , wild bird seed , sun flower hearts and thistle seed for the gold finches .
