Recommended portable vice for sharpening

Can anyone recommend a portable vice for use when hedging,i.e. where there might not be a big stump/log to jam it in?

I use a small engineers vice bolted to a piece of ply 6in X 8in sits on floor of truck or ground.

We have one bolted to our chipper makes sharpening a lot easier.

We use magnetic ones that we put on the side of the chipper so that you can file at chest height stood up. Saves your back and its a lot easier then bending over a saw.

just lay a a log about 4 inches in diameter on the floor cut half way through with saw and turn saw off in cut supports saw well and if you kneel with one knee either side of the engine it works very well and is cheap
