First day on the job and already got the boss lunging !!! image.jpg.c4a7b843922e00cbd8e0659ecf92f51b.jpg. By the time we left. It was blue skies and the we were all in t-shirts :001_tt2:

My PPE was being admired all day and kept me very cool once I opened the vents on the back of the legs.

Things are done very differently here. The guys might not have anything on paper but they have vast experience and know their trade very well. I told the boss I would be buying kit as I go and doing some rec climbing, he has never climbed on a rope like we would back home and was thrilled at the idea and said he would also like to learn.

When I was here in October I noticed the boss climbing with a bow saw over his shoulder and I told him about the fantastic silky fox brand that would make his climbing a lot easier, when we arrived on site today he pulled out a new silky !! Even in my absence I have made changes  the silky done 95% of the work in the tree. A saw was only needed for the two biggest limbs !

There is no arbtruck in out out fit and the waste filled a skip delivered early this morning and the logs were picked up by a friend of the boss.

All in all a very enjoyable first day it feels great to be working again after not working for over a month!
