In my opinion if he's gonna be doing mainly contracting a little Astra van or connect should be fine for him, no poing in having something big and un economical if he's not gonna be using it for its proper perpous most of the time

Anything less than a tipper or pickup is no good. Although from what I remember from who you worked for me last year you have a lot of experience to build up before you worry about buying a truck etc

Hi bill, you keeping well, Ive got a quite a bit of work on for various tree surgeons, im booked up for next month or so, i only need a van to be transporting gear about etc
