Class........whats it mean these days???

Even that means nothing anymore with the amount of fakes and lease cars. Chavs with range rovers and cayan's, Burberry, Prada, Gucci, Barbour etc.

I think you missed my point mate. Whether a person has a real of fake Gucci suit, it is an overt display of perceived wealth and despite the fact they are trying to project class, they are not classy. (I'm not talking about every situation)

Too true,my old grandpa always maintained its ' not the clothes you wear, but whats in your pockets'!

Also, I think it's not the clothes you wear but how you wear them.

Does a person wear the clothes/drive the car with style, class and dignity or is it a display for the public that is actually quite vulgar?

:laugh1:

if its important for people to put others in class they have insecurity in their own lives and feel better by putting others down imo. i would rather be at the bottom of the pile but know i am nice person anytime.

Not sure why you included Barbour in your previous post. I wear mine as it is the best jacket I saw and could afford, the same reason I chose my Stihl and Husqvarna kit rather than Ryobi or Einhell. None of it is 'an overt display of perceived wealth'. :001_smile:

I didn't include Barbour.
