so theres no chance of it recoiling in your slack on the part of the lanyard you went left out, does that make sense or havent i woken up yet? i think id buy one

It automatically recoils all of your Lanyard, that's it's purpose. Look at the video on youtube.

i think he means if your on spikes say and lean in towards the stem. does it suck the lanyard through so that you have to then readjust to lean back.if so, that would be ****.

You'll have to give it a quick tug like a Hoover to make it recoil. I think the cinch will stop that from automatically happening.

thats correct drew, thought i worded it badly. it would be a monumental flaw if that was the case. also would rope diameter effect it. thin line means more line but sometimes its nicer to have a thicker line for flip lining up and down bigger trunks.

does anyone know where you can preorder one from and how much they cost? Seems like a good idea. Shame its not made out of carbon fibre, that would be very bling.

They're not in sale yet but I'm sure Ropetek will announce it, I think I read Feb or March.

 

I think the slight 'bulk' on the side if the harness is negated by the convenience of not trailing a long lanyard or daisy chains rope around.

If you have a Caritool on booth sides already, the Sidewinder won't add much at all.
