Any advantage to getting the carbon fiber ones?

theres a small weight advantage i think aprox 500gram difference so 250 per spike off the top of my head

the carbon one,s are a lot lighter..i own the Alloy ones and have worked with the carbon one,s but in the tree the weight difference isn,t that noticable..

Just noticed this thread- we bought a pair last week and feedback is good. They particularly like the velcro strap.

Can't really understand why people are so crazy about distel spikes...I sold mine to buy a pair of Buckingham.

They're so much more comfortable, no comparison at all
