Intense Masculine Influenza

I am currently suffering from a severe bout of this debilitating illness, gone from horrendous sneezing attacks, to shaking and aches all over the body. Of course the dear lady wife has absolutely no sympathy whatsoever, calling it "just-a-cold, dear" Just a cold????? I've had just-a-colds before, and this is def not just-a-cold!! :crying:

My sympathies to you Andrew, those women folk have no understanding how we just suffer with our ailments and clam up about it to save their worrying :sneaky2:

Don't you just hate it, when they throw the whole delivering of child" angle at the arguement.

Mind you, think yourself lucky, I'm sitting here with a very fetching white stocking on me leg at the mo.

Feeling very lady like :confused1:

The gusset part of the shot as been edited out for public safety reasons.

Wish you a speedy recovery. :001_smile:

To get their own back, women invented bird flu!

Get Well soon, Andy.

My wife got a text from a friend:- "Bird flu has arrived in the UK and is attacking all wild and rough old birds - Are you ok?!"

My other half is a nurse and simply doesn't believe that a fella can feel flippin' rough. I think we often don't communicate how awful we feel simply because of the lack of understanding, thus the lack of evidence as they see it and a denial cycle ensues.

Anyway, best wishes of recovery to you and try blasting the bug with 6 kiwi fruit a day...
