just before the Knife attack a Man walked through my work site in south London...i put my hands up to stop him and said there was about a quarter ton piece of wood about to come down on and could he please walk around..."Blad!" he said....."move man!" i cant let you come through sir it,s a work site and is not safe or legal to allow you to walk through.... fuming with rage, the suited youth said,"Wait here man!" you gonna get shot in your f.......g head blad wait here!!!" he stormed off through the work site.....as we were doing the final tidy up i saw him returning round the corner with a bag under his arm about an hour later...heading up the street towards me.....checking all the tools were packed and the blower was removing the last of the Plane dust from the pavement i calmly said,"Right let,s do one...in the truck pedal to the metal and left that area quick sharp and on to the next job a couple of miles away....i wasn,t waiting to find out. Did my time on Londons mean streets...never again will i work on Street trees in the Capital...There are Loonies everywhere...

Jesus- I've had people with issues but this takes the biscuit.

Did they ever catch the 30 year old black woman. I'm thinking his work mates were preoccupied with saving him rather than chasing her.

We're on street work in London in a couple of weeks- hoping we don't come across this sort of thing. Do we put it in the risk assessment? Ha
