today i came to the end of my free 18month new business banking

its not nice to know what exactly the banks do take after this period

i always knew it was around 89p per £100 paid in , its a total joke , along with all other charges - im with lloyds - the bastards even charged me to take out cash when i could have used machne and got charged nothing

question is 'who do you bank with' and 'are they free (wish)'

NatWest not free only for 18mths, I'm thinking about just opening another personal account. They also charge admin fees for giving u cheque books, cards etc, then a maintaince fees too. Mines not due until feb, but after that they can kiss my furry arse.

looked at the fsb site , cant find how much membership costs ? can u give me a quick idea as the co-op idea seems pretty cool

llloyds charged me £32 this month , to some thats not alot but a small business thats my moble phone bill.

id rather get paid with chqs , at least its only 30p per chq reguardless of cost - the buggers even charged me for online transactions from customers

Try santander its free buisness banking but a bit of a pain is you can only pay in at a cash machine using their envelopes which you have to queue for and then they only give you a couple ! A friend of mine is with lloyds and he was going to change over until the manager said he'd waive the charges mind due he banks about 250k a year !

Bank with Santander. Our high street has two branches. One with a grumpy old witch who states the letter of the law regarding paying in and the other with several cheerful ladies who take cheques and cash over the counter with no hassle and big smiles. Guess which branch is always busy and which is empty.
