Two heavy trailers on today. Gears go tight usually when coming back down. Lots of whining big bang and the clunk lose all gears coast for a bit and then all back. Still whining though ujs all new only problem garage has fitted both props in line when they should be off set.

The front prop should be out of alignment to compensate for the angle that the front axle is mounted, the rear ones should line up. Gearbox wise i'd guess you have bearing problems in the main box and wear in the transfer box dogs.

Well that makes your ridiculous statements OK then????

If you dont like people saying something about "sillly things" stop saying them.

Cant stop, Im off down the hospital to see if I can help in the brain surgery department, I know bugger all about it but I am only trying to help.

I think Mathew was just trying to get his head around the problem.

He will learn from this thread as will the OP.

I already learned not to run Landys...if you wanna get where you're going on any kind of regular basis:thumbup1:

Bit unfair :001_smile:

I've had mine nearly 10 years and it has not let me down once, never broken down yet.

Landrovers only breakdown through bad maintainance

:thumbup::thumbup: couldn't agree more. An day fitting rubbish cheap knockoff parts that look good but don't last long.
