Thanks for all the advice fellas.

 

I went for the Makita 'anniversary' drill driver, it's even in Toon Army colours!

 

18v, 3Ah, L-ion etc., just been fixing in the workshop and I'm well impressed with it.

 

£190, so not cheap, but it's an investment.

 

For a Pro drill with a top quality battery that sounds like a good price.

i've had most brands, wouldn't touck dewalt any more they have dropped in quality, makita are good and worth the money but for me the best impact driver aound is

 

Milwaukee Tools - C18 ID

 

by along way, batteries last an age the mpst torque currently availlable and something like 80% battery charge in 20 mins
