Interested???? This is our Bandit 2290 medium sized Whole Tree Chipper and I am interested in your thoughts to see if there is a market for these in the U.K. Does anybody run anything similar? Are these required in the U.K.?

You misunderstand me, I am saying that waste wood should be chipped for biofuel, but not perfectly good trees.

What's the difference really once you've cut a tree down if your not using it for somthing else (firewood, carving etc) it's waste wood!! We've just taken a lot of perfectly good trees out of a park to make way for a flood defence and its all gone to wood fuel!! And most of it went through a whole tree chipper, of the situation suits it's the best thing for te job!

For biofuel or site clearance type work they're bob on!!

weve just had a 32 inch whole tree chipper clearing up from our cricket bat willow harvest were they only want the first 15 foot of the truck up to the first branch.. the whole tree chipper made a massive job take a fraction of the time... but this wasnt a static machine like in the vid...

The first time I heard the term " whole tree chipper" I was angered. Not really changed my mind since then. Plenty of waste wood going to landfill for biomass, precious few trees in the UK, what a waste to chip them after the investment of growing and managing.

Diseased timber i.e. phyt. larch - just a tad went for biomass!
