I would say sequoia. I've had a wire core made up that goes from ring to ring. Had it made before I used the harness as I didn't like the look of the webbing. Although I would think it is perfectly safe and chances of failing are extremely high, I had it done as its all about trust in the gear you use, gives me piece of mind at 30+ feet.

 

And I remember posting about putting a wire core piec in mine and having a reply about being a girl. Not so much anymore.....

Had one do the same thing dan. I think the stitching that came undone is just keeping the 3 pieces of webbing neatly together so probably not immediately life threatening. Feel free to make the bridge. Looks like sequoia to me, same as mine

 

That was my take on it as well Steve.

 

I did replace it after a few weeks....:blushing:

if your bridge begins to de-laminate like dans it's time for a replacement, taht said steve is right the load bearing stitching is the grey at the ends but do not continue to climb on a de-laminated bridge as the new laod pattern may then affect the load bearing stitching, not within an hour or so but over a few days/ weeks, stay safe peeps x
