Been on with a fifty something meter conifer hedge reduction last few days. Approx 3m off the top. Thankfully had a mewp. Chipped it all with a cs100. Well impressed with it, eats connie very well. 20180910_094801.jpeg20180911_120756.jpeg20180912_104803.jpeg20180912_104807.jpeg20180912_104850.jpeg

I'm not sure what I would choose between this job, and medieval style warfare.

Top job ?

Big hairy Douglas, technically easy, logistically a headache as it was a distance from the yard, 10 cube of chip and a couple of trailers of logs and rakings.

We discovered a more efficient method of clearing the myriad of branches, I dump a dozen or so, the grab comes in pulls them away from the tree towards the chipper so the lads can get busy whilst I drop another load.

Works faster than parking the chipper closer and unpicking the pile by hand while I twiddle my thumbs.

Don't get the up the tree fag breaks that way though Mick. Sounds pretty efficient, 3 man team?
