The last picture I need to direct the winch line downwards because the lift line was too high for the feed into the winch. Had to improvise because all of the pulleys and strops were in use. Worked well but not ideal.

Not hard, just painfully slow. You need 6t of force to rip it free from the riverbed, once free a single line of 1t force is all that's required. Done a lot of this type clearance now so thankfully I'm pretty versed at getting them out. Ignorant canoeists are the biggest problem when using a dynamic rope for its elastic force they don't/won't stop.
