Had a another pair of hands today helping out on a replacement  forestry boundary fence, he was asked to bring a cup as we would have a stove and kettle on site he turned up with what he said was his best work cup a cut off Ribeana bottle,

A while back we were working away from home and the accommodation was not equipped very well.

No glasses so my evening wine drinking had an unusual twist.

At times, we do need to improvise, and nowt wrong with it all, still got same plastic fork in truck and been using it 5yrs plus,

Bit different today, repollarding a reputed 850 year old oak that shat a piece a few weeks back.

 

3 big stems girdled up with old steel bracing, thankfully, not much holding wood on the dodgy one.
