That looks big mate, why only the foliage? What's happening with the stems?

 

Certainly the largest Pinus radiata I've seen in terms of timber volume. Must have been lopped +50 years ago.

 

I don't believe the client could afford the ~$20,000 for complete removal so they settled for 5 days work instead. All the timber/foliage has to be dragged across sloping ground 50m to the back of the chipper.

 

If they plant some Ivy next to the trunk and wait another 50 years it should just fall down the hill.

Crumlin (Dublin 12) to start and moved when I got married now in Fairhouse (Dublin24) just under the foot hill of the Dublin Mts , work is not great right now , doing a bit for few landscapers and what ever come's along , how about U ? missing home ?

Was home for a funeral last wk. Wanna move back home eventually but have a baby now do will need to wait. My brother just bought a house by the Phoenix park. Work is busy over here getting some good experience
