Nice work Mick.

Darrin I always think I'm going to enjoy deadwooding old oaks, but hardly ever do.

Even though I know there's always going to be far more in there than there looks from the ground.

I'm usually a beaten old man afterwards, and I have no shame in using SRT, ladders, pole saw, whatever.

Day 1 of a Beech removal due to Merrip. The tree had a TPO in but a 5 day notice was served and away we go. Ollie B climbing and Joe, Ste, Chris on the ground and me rigging. 3 loads of chip and we are over half way now. ImageUploadedByArbtalk1441730345.460736.jpg.a7fc816c3fedc6828ddf135d0f4ac488.jpg

All the timber is being kept by the old guy who's tree it is Mark, he had tears in his eyes when we started as he loves the tree so much. He is into wood turning so he is going to make stuff out of some of it, firewood for him and his 4 kids and his mates etc. I have told him there is going to be a lot of timber but he is having it all. We even cut shrubs out of beds so he can stack the wood there. It was a brilliant day which makes the work much more fun, as does a good set of lads.
